Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Onion diced
  • 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Can Kidney Beans
  • 1 1/2 Cups Water
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place the ground beef and white onion in a large saucepan, Cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes, until the beef is browned and the onions are softened
  • Pour in the stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans and water, and stir together
  • Add the chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and stir again
  • Bring to a boil then reduce to low heat, cover the pan with a lid and allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and serve with tortilla chips, top with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and slices of onion.
