Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Saucepan
  • FOOD PROCESSOR or BLENDER

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 Cup Peach Schnapps
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Fresh Mint chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 2 Cups Half and Half Cream
  • 10 Fresh Peaches sliced

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add the white wine, peach schnapps, and fresh mint, and stir together.
  • Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, cream, and sugar, and mix well until fully combined.
  • Pour into a large saucepan and add the sliced peaches.
  • (If you want to peel the peaches it is very simple. First, boil a large pot of water then drop in the peaches for a minute or two. Immediately put them in ice water for a few minutes and the skin comes right off, easy!)
  • Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes while stirring until the peaches are softened.
  • Allow to cool and transfer to the blender, blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  • Cover and place in the refrigerator until cool or ready to use.
  • Serve chilled, garnish with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt and mint leaves or top with a spoonful of fat-free vanilla yogurt and a few blueberries.
