Honey Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

This honey teriyaki sauce recipe produces a sweet and tangy sticky sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ginger minced
  • 1 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Mirin
  • 3 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1/4 Cup Water cold

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in the saucepan and mix well until fully combined.
  • Bring to the boil over a medium heat, once boiled reduce to a low heat and lightly simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  • Remove from the heat and use immediately or allow to cool and store for later.
  • If storing, pour into an airtight jar and refrigerate.

REHEATING: HONEY TERIYAKI SAUCE RECIPE

OVEN: Place in an ovenproof dish and cover, cook at 350F/180C for 10 minutes
MICROWAVE: Place in a microwave dish and cook on full power for 1 minute.
