Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk or water
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey or syrup
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • Optional Chia Seeds, Chopped Walnuts, Sliced Banana, and Blueberries

Instructions
 

  • How to Make Oatmeal Peanut Butter
  • Place the milk, honey, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the rolled oats to the milk mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Cook for a further 3-5 minutes stirring frequently.
  • Remove the oatmeal from the heat while it is still slightly runny, and allow it to rest for a few minutes to thicken.
  • Next, add the peanut butter, and stir until well until it is fully combined.
  • Serve, sprinkled with Chia Seeds and Chopped Walnuts, and add layers of Sliced Banana and Blueberries. Or add your choice of favorite toppings.

MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place the milk, honey, salt, and oats in a large microwave-safe bowl and stir thoroughly until fully combined.
  • Microwave for 2-3 minutes on high power
  • Remove the oatmeal from the microwave while it is still slightly runny, and allow it to rest for a few minutes to thicken.
  • Next, add the peanut butter, and stir until well until it is fully combined.
  • Serve, sprinkled with Chia Seeds and Chopped Walnuts, and add layers of Sliced Banana and Blueberries. Or add your choice of favorite toppings.

VARIATIONS: OATMEAL PEANUT BUTTER RECIPE

Topping options: The list is endless and you could have a different topping for every day of the month! Try some of these in any combination or even all at once if you’re really hungry.
  • Chopped Nuts such as walnuts, almonds, or macadamia.
  • A sprinkle of seeds such as Chia Seeds or Flaxseed.
  • Chopped Berries such as strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.
  • Sliced or Chopped Fruit such as sliced banana and chopped apple.
  • A Spoonful of your favorite jam, honey, syrup, or even a spoonful of more peanut butter.
  • Add a bit of spice like Ground Cinnamon or Ginger.
