SKILLET BROWNIE RECIPE

This skillet brownie recipe is easy to make and so delicious and also gluten free! You can always make it in a cake tin if you don’t have a suitable skillet.

  • 6 Inch Skillet
  • Food Processor
  • Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Pecans
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cups Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F/176C, grease a 6 inch skillet or cake tin.
  • Place the pecans in the food processor, blitz slowly on full for a few seconds at a time until the pecans are coarsely chopped.
  • Add the sea salt, baking powder, coconut sugar and cocoa powder, mix again on full for 10-20 seconds until all the dry ingredients are mixed.
  • Next add the melted butter and 1 egg, mix again on full until fully combined.
  • Add 1 cup of chocolate chips and mix until the chocolate chips are chopped into small pieces.
  • Using a spatula, place all the brownie mixture into the greased skillet.
  • Scatter the remaining chocolate chips over the top.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Serve with scoops of ice cream.
