Preheat the oven to 400F/204C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine all the meatball ingredients (ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic) in a large mixing bowl and mix until all the ingredients are combined.
Roll the mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls, and place them on a lined baking sheet pan lined.
Place in the preheated oven, and bake for 12 minutes until the meatballs are lightly browned and fully cooked.
While the meatballs are cooking, place all the ingredients for the sauce (soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, honey, sesame oil, mirin, cornstarch, and water) in a small saucepan and mix them together until fully combined.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, once boiled reduce to low heat and lightly simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Remove the cooked meatballs from the oven and place them into a mixing bowl, pour the teriyaki sauce over them and coat well before serving.
Top with green onions and sesame seeds and serve with fluffy rice or Chinese. noodles
