Ingredients
  

TURKEY MEATBALLS

  • 16 oz Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Tablespoons Green Onion chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Ginger grated
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced

TERIYAKI SAUCE

  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ginger minced
  • 1 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Mirin
  • 3 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1/4 Cup Water cold

TOPPINGS

  • Green Onions sliced
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400F/204C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine all the meatball ingredients (ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic) in a large mixing bowl and mix until all the ingredients are combined.
  • Roll the mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls, and place them on a lined baking sheet pan lined.
  • Place in the preheated oven, and bake for 12 minutes until the meatballs are lightly browned and fully cooked.
  • While the meatballs are cooking, place all the ingredients for the sauce (soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, honey, sesame oil, mirin, cornstarch, and water) in a small saucepan and mix them together until fully combined.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, once boiled reduce to low heat and lightly simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  • Remove the cooked meatballs from the oven and place them into a mixing bowl, pour the teriyaki sauce over them and coat well before serving.
  • Top with green onions and sesame seeds and serve with fluffy rice or Chinese. noodles
