Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Yellow Onion diced
  • 1 Carrot diced
  • 2 Garlic Cloves diced
  • 8 oz Ground Turkey
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Parsley chopped
  • 2 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil and 1 Tbsp of butter in a large frypan/skillet.
  • Add the diced yellow onion, chopped carrot and chopped garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Break up the ground turkey in to the pan, add the sea salt and black pepper, next add the Paprika Cinnamon and Oregano.
  • Stir until fully mixed and cook until the ground turkey is browned and fully cooked and the onions are fully softened.
  • Add the tomato paste and pour in the canned tomatoes. Stir until fully mixed and add the parsley and bay leaves.
  • Stir well to fully mix together all the ingredients, bring to a simmer. Simmer for a further 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Mix the parmesan cheese through the mixture and serve over pasta.
