This Delicious Marinade for Chicken is super easy and simple to make, and gives tender and tasty chicken every time!
A marinade is made by using oils, spices, and acids, in which meats are soaked to flavor or soften them before cooking. Marinating infuses the meat or chicken with lots of flavors, and makes it extra tender and juicy.
You can marinate chicken for anywhere from 30 minutes to overnight, this can be dependent on the ingredients. If the chicken marinade doesn’t contain any citrus fruit or any acid vinegar, you can marinate it overnight for up to 24 hours.
FRIDGE: Place in an airtight container and store for up to 2-3 days.
FREEZER: Place in an airtight container and store in the freezer for up to 6 months.
Place chicken in a large Ziploc bag and then add the marinade. Remove as much air as possible, seal the bag, and place it in the freezer. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Allow to fully defrost before cooking. No need to let your chicken marinate before freezing as it will marinate as it freezes and thaws!
Approximately 1/2 cup of the marinade per 1lb chicken. Easy to double up when you need to.
