Most people know pizza as a dish made from dough, sauce, and cheese. These Pizza Pops are great for Kids & Parties.
Pizza pops are simply small pizzas on a stick, that have been grilled or baked. They are a great way to enjoy a pizza without having to eat a whole pizza.
Perfect as an appetizer, they can be served with a dipping sauce or a salad or as part of a meal. They can be put on top of a dish or on the side with a sauce.
This recipe uses sticks so they can be eaten just like a popsicle, making them less messy for kids and a great party dish.
FRIDGE: Place in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3-5 days.
FREEZER: Place in an airtight container and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
OVEN: Place in an ovenproof dish and cover, cook at 350F/180C for 15 minutes
MICROWAVE: Place in a microwave dish and cook on full power for 2-3 minutes.
1 Pack Pizza Dough
4 Lollipop Sticks
4 Slices Mozzarella Cheese
4 Tbsp Pizza Sauce
8 Pepperoni Slices
1 Egg (mixed for an egg wash)
1 Tsp Oregano
2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese (shredded)
1. Preheat the oven to 350F/180C.
2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut out 8 rectangles.
3. On one rectangle place a lollipop stick along the length of it.
4. Next add a slice of mozzarella cheese, a tablespoon of pizza sauce and top with 2 slices of pepperoni.
5. Cover with a second slice of pizza dough and use a fork to seal the edges securely.
6. Repeat with the remaining dough to make 4 pizza sticks, and place on an oven dish.
7. Brush with the egg wash, sprinkle with oregano followed by a sprinkle of shredded parmesan cheese.
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
