Simple Naan Bread Recipe

Simple Naan Bread Recipe

This simple naan bread recipe really is the simplest ever, with only 2 ingredients, self-raising flour and yogurt, it uses no yeast!

This no yeast naan bread uses yogurt which reacts with the self-raising flour, this allows for the bubbles to form on the bread and the naan to puff up during cooking.

Bicarbonate of soda or baking powder can sometimes be used to replace yeast, and self-raising flour contains baking powder making it the ideal flour to use for naan bread.

These naans are a great side for so many dishes and go especially well with curries and most Indian dishes. But also perfect for dips and salads.

Serve them with a curry such as this easy Slow Cooker Chicken Curry or try them with this Mediterranean Salad, or even with this Avocado Hummus
