Potato Crust Pizza Recipe

INGREDIENTS  

1 Potato (sliced)

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Cup Cheese (grated)

1 Cup Tomato Sauce

3 Mushrooms (sliced)

1 Ball Mozzarella Cheese (sliced)

1 Egg (optional)

4 Slices Bacon or Ham (optional)

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS 

1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet/frypan.

2. Lay the potato slices in a circular pattern, starting at the outer side of the pan and working inwards until the base of the pan is covered.

3. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the potato slices, cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 5 minutes until the potatoes are softened.

4. Next add the tomato sauce, spreading evenly over the potato base. Add the mushrooms and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top, leaving a space in the centre if you are adding the egg.

5. Cover again with a lid and cook for a further 5 minutes on medium heat, until the egg is cooked and the cheese has fully melted.

6. Slide out of the pan onto a surface or plate, top with the slices of bacon/ham or other toppings of your choice.
