Skillet Brownie Recipe
This skillet brownie recipe is easy to make and so delicious and also gluten free! You can always make it in a cake tin if you don’t have a suitable skillet.
The brownie is ready in 15 minutes, so perfect when you need a chocolate fix or a speedy dessert.
It makes a great sharing dessert for two so ideal for a romantic dinner or even a Valentines dessert, serve with ice cream for a yummy topping.
Of course, you don’t need to be following a gluten free diet to enjoy this brownie.

OVEN: Place in an ovenproof dish and cover, cook at 350F/180C for 5-10 minutes
MICROWAVE: Place in a microwave dish and cook on full power for 1-2 minutes.
Skillet Brownie Recipe
INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Pecans
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 Cup Coconut Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Cocoa Powder
1 Tbsp Butter (melted)
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Preheat oven to 350F/176C, grease a 6 inch skillet or cake tin.
2. Place the pecans in the food processor, blitz slowly on full for a few seconds at a time until the pecans are coarsely chopped.
3. Add the sea salt, baking powder, coconut sugar and cocoa powder, mix again on full for 10-20 seconds until all the dry ingredients are mixed.
4. Next add the melted butter and 1 egg, mix again on full until fully combined.
5. Add 1 cup of chocolate chips and mix until the chocolate chips are chopped into small pieces.
6. Using a spatula, place all the brownie mixture into the greased skillet.
7. Scatter the remaining chocolate chips over the top.
8. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
9. Serve with scoops of ice cream.
