Making these Teriyaki Turkey Burgers is super easy, all you need are some basic ingredients, and then you can get cooking! First, you’ll need some Teriyaki sauce you can use store-bought or homemade, and this Healthy Homemade Teriyaki Sauce is perfect!
Once you have a few ingredients ready, it’s time to start assembling your burgers!
Teriyaki Turkey Burgers are great on their own or served with a side of dipping sauce, but if you want to pair it with another side or dish then try one or more of these easy dishes:
FRIDGE: Place in an airtight container and store for up to 2-3 days.
FREEZER: Place in an airtight container and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
STOVETOP: Place in a saucepan, and heat on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
OVEN: Place in an ovenproof dish and cover, cook at 350F/180C for 10-15 minutes
MICROWAVE: Place in a microwave-safe dish and cook on full power for 1-2 minutes.
1 Pound Ground Turkey
3 Tablespoons Teriyaki Sauce
1 Egg (beaten)
1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
6 Burger buns
1. Place the ground turkey in a large mixing and add the teriyaki sauce, and egg, and lightly mix together.
2. Add the breadcrumbs and well mix, until all the ingredients are fully combined.
3. Form into 6 patties using an ice cream scoop to measure, and flatten to form a pattie.
4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet (or fry pan) and carefully lay the patties in the hot oil.
5. Cook over medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until the patties are browned and thoroughly cooked.
6. Place on a grilled burger bun, with a base of lettuce, tomatoes, and onion, and top with additional teriyaki sauce. Add grilled brown mushroom then top with cheese and arugula.
